Goosebumps SlappyWorld: The Dummy Meets the Mummy

The Dummy Meets the Mummy is one of my favorite books in the Goosebumps series. For those who don't know, Goosebumps is a series with many sub-series. Each book is just a scary story, but all the books are about different characters. This book is about a girl named Cathy whose class is going to the local Haunted Horror museum for a sleepover. The museum is owned by Cathy's dad. Everyone is excited because the museum recently got a real mummy. The museum also gets donated a weird ventriloquist dummy. It turns out, both of these items LITERALLY come to life when you say certain words! Cathy, her dad, her sister, and her cousin figure this out before the class arrives for the sleepover, but they decide to risk that nobody will read the words. The best part was when the mummy and the dummy FOUGHT! The mummy used brute force and the dummy used magic to bring dead animals to life and fight the mummy. The mummy was still evil though, he just wanted to be the one to dictate everybody else. What I really love about this book is that it does what other books rarely do, which is to leave you on a cliff-hanger and not a happy ending. This is because the class figures out that to put the mummy and dummy back to sleep, they had to say the words that awakened them. The thing is, once they put the mummy to sleep, they read what they thought were the dummy's words. But then, a sentence followed: "Wait, were those the right words?" From this I can gather that they were actually the Mummy's Words and the whole thing started up again.
